In a fun, entertaining, but frustrating game to watch, my favorite NBA team, the New Jersey Nets, lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, Friday, February 3, 2012, 108-105, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Maybe Anthony Morrow should sprain his ankle more often.

The Nets’ top shooting guard missed Wednesday night’s win over the Detroit Pistons with a sprained ankle but returned to score a career-high 42 points in a 108-105 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.

Morrow connected on a clutch four-point play in the closing minute to bring the Nets to within one point, but the T-wolves got a big steal from Ricky Rubio in the waning seconds to secure the win.

Morrow credited the play of backcourt mate Deron Williams for giving him the chance to have two sensational scoring games in a row. Morrow scored 28 points in a Tuesday night loss to Indiana.
