John Wall: A Happy Birthday to the Washington Wizards Rookie Point Guard
Today is Labor Day, a national holiday celebrating the economic and social achievements of American workers.
However, today is also a very special day for a very special somebody; that somebody is John Wall, the No. 1 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
Today, Wall will celebrate his 20th birthday, and, oh, what a wonderful 19 years he has had.
Just think, before turning 20 Wall was the focal point of a major college program, earning him the first overall selection in June’s draft by the Washington Wizards, and he signed a five-year, $25 million deal with Reebok.
Let’s just say his hard work has paid off up to this point.
