Boston Celtics’ Nenad Krstic Needs a Vowel: Calling on Vanna White!

Sports Bettting at the Sportsbook

The Boston Celtics fashion seamstress can certainly save money on Nenad Krstic by stitching fewer letters on the back of his jersey. Without vowels, he can surely fit his name on any narrow space, like a locker or a license plate.

If we were to remove vowels from some Celtic jerseys, we’d be left with a true guessing game:   ‘Nl, or Rnd, or lln or, Prc.

No wonder Celtics GM ng traded Nt Rbnsn.

What can you say to a man who lacks vowelization? To make matters worse, his first name is harder to pronounce than Rajon.  How many variations on a theme can we hear in 25 regular season games for Nenad?

At least we don’t have to deal with the Serbian Cyrillic spelling of his name, which is Ненад Крстић.

We may need to call in Vanna White to help us with the puzzle board.

If we buy an A for Nenad, we have K-R-A-S-T-I-C, which rhymes with plastic, but the Serbian “c” makes him rhyme with pastiche.

So clearly we must spin the wheel of fortune again.

Vanna, let’s buy an E.

K-R-E-S-T-I-C sounds a bit like a cross between Crest toothpaste and a retired clairvoyant, Kreskin.

Since there’s no “I” in team, the Celtics must reject that vowel. No thanks, not K-R-I-S-T-I-C.

K-R-O-S-T-I-C can most definitely cause “puzzlement.”

K-R-U-S-T-I-C sounds a bit rustic, like he’s is from the Ozarks, but I think he’d be more at home in the Carpathian Mountains where Vlad the Impaler really knew how to dunk.

K-R-Y-S-T-I-C actually sounds fairly good, and it has an aesthetic symmetry. I think it spells exactly what his name is. I wonder why they dropped the Y, or am I asking why while others say Y not?

However we pronounce his name, Celtics fans, Nenad Krstic seems like a nice guy and a hard worker.  Let’s not complicate his life in Boston.

After all, we come from a region where we pahk a cah in Hahvud Yahds, having banished the hard R across the Chahles Rivuh.
